Twenty-one trains are running late due to low visibility and other operational reasons, in the Northern Railway region on Saturday. According to the IMD, dense fog has been observed only in isolated parts of Uttar Pradesh and East Assam.
Visibility at 5:30 am on Monday in Dibrugarh, Bareilly, Gorakhpur has been recorded at 50 metres, while Bahraich, Sultanpur have recorded visibility of 25 metres.
The forecast also predicted large scale fog conditions over north India from January 29. At least 12 trains were delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India on Friday.
