The Indian Railways will run a tourist special train ‘Bharat Darshan Tourist Train to South India’ for seven nights and eight days. It will leave Bhubaneswar on January 2 at 10pm towards Rameswaram, Madurai and Tirupati.
People can get this inclusive tourist package at a cost of Rs 8,085 only, which will cover the journey from January 2 to visit the above destinations with Sleeper Class train journey, accommodation, vegetarian meals, tourist buses, escorts and security guards and travel insurance.
Besides, the passengers who do not get confirmed tickets in other trains or fail to get a direct train to South India can also travel in the train. They can board the train from Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada with tourist package system.
All Covid-19 precautions will be followed during the tour, said the railway sources.
