Commuters using FASTags passing through Kherki Daula toll plaza on the Delhi-Jaipur highway have complained of being overcharged because of the system’s technical glitches.
Some alleged that they are being charged twice for the same trip and others said they are having to pay toll in cash since the tag reader doesn’t work properly, but later, this amount is getting debited from their FASTag account too.
After receiving these complaints, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has ordered to change the FASTag reader immediately.
On Thursday, Satish Aggarwal, a resident of the new Gurugram, faced the same problem while going to Delhi. He said that the operator at the toll gate told him that his FASTag account could not be read and so he had to pay cash Rs 65 as toll charge
