Govt mulling to give green signal to oil companies for home delivery of petrol and CNG: Dharmendra Pradhan

In what could be a good news for the vehicle owners amid the coronavirus-mandated lockdown, the government could soon give a nod to oil companies to begin the home delivery of petrol, CNG and LNG.

Hinting about the possible start of home delivery of fuels, Oil Minister Dharamendra Pradhan on Friday, as quoted by news agency PTI said, “just like diesel, the government would like to expand the same for petrol and LNG, adding that people would be able to get the home delivery of the fuel in future.”

The home delivery of diesel was started in 2018 through mobile dispenser at some selected cities in the country by India’s largest fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation.
