Madhya Pradesh tenders for 30 MW rooftop solar

Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited has invited bids to set up an aggregate 30 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems at various locations in Madhya Pradesh. The plant—to be installed under RESCO mode (capital expenditures covered by the installer)—may be allowed either as grid-connected net-metered systems or grid-connected systems for consumption within premises with no export of power.

The work scope includes design, engineering, supply, financing, installation, testing and commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for 25 years.

The projects are to be developed using solar modules manufactured in India and enlisted with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).

“The projects are eligible for concessional funding from World Bank available through State Bank of India, Asian Development Bank available through Punjab National Bank and Indian Renewable Energy Department Agency if the bidder meets the criteria set out by each respective bank/agency”—as per the tender document.
