MSEDCL restores power in many areas

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has said that power supply has been restored in many areas except in some waterlogged areas where transformers and underground cables need to be dried first before making them operational.

Power supply was interrupted in Dhanori, Ahmednagar Road, Lohgaon, Wadgaonsheri, Vimannagar, Kondhwa, Rasta peth, Fatimanagar, Mangalwar peth, NIBM Road, some parts of Warje, Dhayari, Bibvewadi, Ambegaon, Katraj, Sahakarnagar, Ravet, Pimple Saudagar, Old Sangvi, Dehu Road, Charholi, Thergaon, Dapodi and Hinjewadi.

Seven underground low-tension cables of the MSEDCL were damaged on Thursday night at Narhe, affecting 1,500 consumers, when the civic body undertook repairs of a bridge washed away in Wednesday’s heavy rain.
