You can now board trains from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Varanasi, Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa, Ahmedabad, and Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh to travel to the Statue of Unity.
Not only these long-distance 8 trains, the Indian Railways in a bid to provide a boost to tourism and also better connectivity have launched a direct train service from Ahmedabad to Kevadiya from 17th January 2021.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the inaugural run of the Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi Special Express. The train comprises Vistadome, AC chair car Executive Class, AC chair car and Non-AC chair car coaches.
The Jan Shatabdi Special express has been designed in such a manner that passengers can savour the beauty of the terrain that they are travelling on towards Kevadiya where the world-famous statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel and the complex stands.a
