Thermal energy giant NLC tenders 10 MW captive solar

State-owned thermal energy giant NLC India Ltd (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corporation) has invited domestic bids to set up a 10 MW (AC) grid-interactive captive solar power project at Neyveli township in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.

The work includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply (excluding PV modules), erection, and commissioning the plant at Neyveli.

NLC will provide the land for the solar power project at Neyveli township premises near its 33/11KV substation located near Thermal Power Station-I. It consists of two plots measuring approximately 22 acres and 28 acres, respectively.

To be eligible, the bidder should have executed within the last seven years one similar work of value not less than INR 16.07 crore, or two similar works of value not less than INR 10.05 crore each, or three similar works of value not less than INR 8.04 crore each.
